Welcome to the Steele County Chapter of the American Red Cross.  We are an organization made up of a wonderful group of volunteers willing to donate their time and talents to help those in need.  Without the volunteers and donations from the community members of Steele county, we wouldn't be able to serve in the manner that we do.  We would also like to thank the United Way for their continual support of our organization.

Our Mission

The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization, led by volunteers, that provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. It does this through services that are consistent with its Congressional Charter and the principles of the International Red Cross Movement.

Our goal as a local chapter is to deliver quality products and services, anticipate and respond to the public need,  and demonstrate financial responsibility and stewardship.

Chapter Profile

The Steele County  Chapter of the American Red Cross is pleased to welcome you into the world's largest volunteer organization.  Our local chapter is actively involved in the many aspects of the Red Cross.  Our volunteers work both locally and nationally on Disaster Relief teams and help provide necessary food, clothing and shelter for victims of single family fires locally.  Other volunteers work at First Aid stations that are setup at the Steele County fair and other community events and many hours are worked to support the local Bloodmobile efforts.  We also provide training in Water Safety, CPR, First Aid, Babysitting, Sports First Aid and HIV/AIDS education.   It is these dedicated and caring individuals who carry out the mission of the Red Cross, and will continue to do so, with help from people like you!

Consider joining our team! From all those who would benefit from your service . . . thank you for considering joining us!
